Starbucks Breakfast Menu 2026: Items, Calories, Protein & Prices

⚡ Nutrition From Starbucks’ Own Menu
Last updated: October 2026

Quick Answer: What’s on the Starbucks Breakfast Menu?

The Starbucks breakfast menu has 22 items right now: seven breakfast sandwiches, three wraps (including the new Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket), three egg bites and bakes, and nine classics such as oatmeal, bagels, overnight oats and Greek yogurt. Breakfast is served all day until your store sells out. Starbucks doesn’t list prices on its website, but its online menu does publish full nutrition and the Stars needed to get each item free, and every number below comes from there.

Stars to Get It Free

Many Starbucks breakfast guides stop at a list of sandwiches with a price next to each. That leaves out the two things Starbucks actually publishes: complete nutrition for every item, and how many Rewards Stars each one costs. We pulled both from Starbucks’ own online menu on October 30, 2026, so the item list below is what’s being sold now, not what was sold last winter.

The Full Starbucks Breakfast Menu Right Now

Starbucks’ online menu lists 22 breakfast items in four groups: Breakfast Sandwiches, Breakfast Wraps, Egg Bites & Bakes, and More Breakfast Classics. Avocado Spread and Sweet Cream Cheese Icing are sold as add-ons on top of those. Calories and protein below are Starbucks’ own figures for one serving.

Breakfast Sandwiches

Sandwich What’s on It 🔥 Calories Protein
Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Bacon smoked six hours over hickory, fried cage-free egg, sharp Cheddar, croissant bun 🔥 500 Cal 21 g
Sausage, Cheddar & Egg Sausage patty, cage-free egg, aged Cheddar, English muffin 🔥 480 Cal 18 g
Impossible™ Breakfast Sandwich Plant-based Impossible™ sausage, fried egg, aged Cheddar, sesame ciabatta 🔥 420 Cal 21 g
Egg, Pesto & Mozzarella Egg frittata with kale, basil pesto, mozzarella, Cheddar and onion bun 🔥 390 Cal 21 g
Bacon, Gouda & Egg Applewood-smoked bacon, Parmesan egg frittata, aged Gouda, artisan roll 🔥 360 Cal 18 g
Ham & Swiss Croissant Hickory-smoked ham and Swiss in a butter croissant 🔥 330 Cal 14 g
Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon, egg whites, sharp white Cheddar, wheat English muffin 🔥 260 Cal 17 g

The turkey bacon sandwich is the one that changed this year. Starbucks’ own description now calls the turkey bacon cherrywood-smoked and the Cheddar sharper, which matches the revamp Newsweek reported for the winter 2026 menu.

Breakfast Wraps and the Protein Pocket

Wrap What’s in It 🔥 Calories Protein
Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap Double-smoked bacon, pork sausage, scrambled egg, Cheddar, potatoes, flour tortilla 🔥 640 Cal 27 g
Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket Chicken, bacon and garlic-herb cheese spread in toasted whole-wheat lavash 🔥 310 Cal 20 g
Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap Egg whites, spinach, feta, sun-dried tomato cream cheese, whole-wheat wrap 🔥 290 Cal 20 g

The Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap is the heaviest thing on the breakfast menu by every measure: most calories, most protein and, at 1,050 mg, the most sodium. The Protein Pocket is new; Starbucks’ featured-menu page labels it that way.

Egg Bites and Bakes

Item What’s in It 🔥 Calories Protein
Bacon & Gruyère Egg Bites Applewood-smoked bacon, Gruyère and Monterey Jack, cooked sous vide 🔥 300 Cal 19 g
Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes Diced potato, Cheddar, spinach and chives in baked egg 🔥 240 Cal 12 g
Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites Egg whites, Monterey Jack, spinach, fire-roasted red pepper, cooked sous vide 🔥 170 Cal 12 g

“Sous vide” means the eggs are sealed and cooked slowly in a water bath, which is where the custard-like texture comes from. Only three versions are on the menu now. Lists that still show Italian Sausage or Truffle, Mushroom & Brie egg bites are out of date; more on that below.

More Breakfast Classics

Item What It Is 🔥 Calories Protein
Ellenos Muesli Yogurt Sweetened Greek yogurt with oats, honey, cranberries, banana, pumpkin seeds 🔥 340 Cal 19 g
Ellenos Strawberry Shortcake Greek Yogurt Strawberry Greek yogurt with buttery cookie crumble 🔥 310 Cal 16 g
Cinnamon Pull-Apart Croissant pieces with cinnamon sugar and streusel 🔥 300 Cal 6 g
MUSH Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Overnight Oats Oats, cocoa, peanuts, oatmilk, dates, sea salt 🔥 290 Cal 15 g
Ellenos® Muesli Yogurt – No Added Sugar Unsweetened Greek yogurt with a no-sugar-added muesli topping 🔥 280 Cal 18 g
Everything Bagel New York–style bagel with onion, garlic, salt, poppy and sesame 🔥 270 Cal 10 g
Plain Bagel New York–style bagel, with cream cheese or butter on request 🔥 250 Cal 9 g
Butter Croissant Classic flaky butter croissant 🔥 250 Cal 5 g
Rolled & Steel-Cut Oatmeal Whole-grain oats; toppings are extra (dried fruit, nut medley, brown sugar, agave, blueberries) 🔥 160 Cal 5 g

Two of these trip people up. The oatmeal’s 160 calories is the oats alone, before any topping. And the two muesli yogurts are different products: the “No Added Sugar” version has 10 g of sugar against 28 g in the regular one.

Does Starbucks Serve Breakfast All Day?

Yes. Starbucks has no breakfast cutoff time; breakfast sandwiches, wraps and egg bites are sold for as long as your store has them. Tasting Table reported in July 2024 that there’s no hard cutoff and items last until the local café runs out. Chowhound said the same in September 2024, describing breakfast and lunch being sold during all business hours.

The catch is stock. Tasting Table says the sandwiches arrive frozen, so once a store’s supply for the day is gone, it’s gone. Chowhound relays a Reddit post from someone who said they work at Starbucks describing a single daily “sandwich pull” from the freezer. That part is one employee’s account, not a company statement.

  • No cutoff: ordering a breakfast sandwich at 4 PM is normal at Starbucks.
  • Sell-outs are the real limit: late afternoon is when favorites tend to be gone.
  • Check before you go: the Starbucks app shows what your store has when you order ahead.
  • Store hours vary: see what time Starbucks closes for typical hours.

Which Starbucks Breakfast Has the Most Protein for the Calories?

The Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites give the most protein per calorie, at about 7 g per 100 calories. The Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap and the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich come next. If you want the most protein outright, the Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap has 27 g, but it costs 640 calories to get there.

We worked this out from Starbucks’ own nutrition figures by dividing protein by calories. It’s a simple way to compare a 170-calorie item with a 640-calorie one on equal terms. The Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket deserves a mention too: 20 g of protein at 310 calories, and it’s one of the cheapest items to redeem with Stars.

Rolled & Steel-Cut Oatmeal (no toppings) 160 2.5 g 28 g 0 g 5 g 125 mg

Add-ons count too. Avocado Spread is 90 calories with 4 g of fiber. Sweet Cream Cheese Icing adds 140 calories and 11 g of sugar, which nearly doubles the sugar in a Cinnamon Pull-Apart.

Healthiest Starbucks Breakfast Picks

For the fewest calories, choose the oatmeal (160 before toppings) or the Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites (170). For protein, the Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap (20 g at 290 calories) is the strongest full meal. “Healthiest” depends on what you’re watching, so here’s the pick by goal.

If You Want… Order Why
Fewest calories Rolled & Steel-Cut Oatmeal 160 Cal plain; toppings add more
Lightest hot item Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites 170 Cal, 12 g protein
Most protein per calorie Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites About 7 g per 100 Cal
Best protein meal Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap 20 g protein, 290 Cal
Lowest carb Bacon & Gruyère Egg Bites 9 g carbs
Low sodium and sugar, high protein Ellenos Muesli Yogurt – No Added Sugar 140 mg sodium, 10 g sugar, 18 g protein
Lightest sandwich Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White 260 Cal, 17 g protein

One honest warning. The wraps look light, but the Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap carries 840 mg of sodium, more than the Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich. If sodium is your concern, egg bites and yogurt beat every wrap and sandwich.

Vegetarian, Vegan and Allergen Guide

Starbucks tags three breakfast items as vegetarian (Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes, the oatmeal and the Butter Croissant) and labels both bagels vegan. Several more are meatless by their ingredients: the Egg, Pesto & Mozzarella Sandwich, the Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap, the Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Egg Bites and the Impossible™ Breakfast Sandwich. That last one contains egg and cheese, so it isn’t vegan, and the bagels stop being vegan once you add butter or cream cheese.

Item Allergens Starbucks Lists
Most breakfast sandwiches Egg, Milk, Wheat
Impossible™ Breakfast Sandwich Egg, Milk, Sesame, Soy, Tree nuts, Wheat
Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap Egg, Milk, Sesame, Soy, Wheat
Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket Milk, Sesame, Soy, Wheat
All three egg bites and bakes Egg, Milk (no wheat listed)
Everything Bagel Sesame, Wheat
Rolled & Steel-Cut Oatmeal None listed
MUSH Overnight Oats Field left blank online, but the description lists peanuts

Gluten: the egg bites and bakes list no wheat, which makes them the usual pick for people avoiding gluten. Starbucks doesn’t call them gluten-free, though, and they’re prepared alongside wheat products. Anyone with celiac disease should ask the barista and decide on that basis.

How Much Is Breakfast at Starbucks?

Starbucks doesn’t publish breakfast prices on its website. Prices are set by store and appear in the Starbucks app once you pick a location. Third-party price trackers in 2026 put most breakfast sandwiches at roughly $5 to $7 and a two-piece order of egg bites at roughly $5 to $6, with one October 2026 tracker listing egg bites as high as $7.15.

We couldn’t confirm any of those figures against Starbucks itself, and the trackers disagree with each other by more than a dollar on the same sandwich. Use them for a rough idea only. For a real number, open the app, choose your store and look at the item. For drink prices, see our Starbucks menu prices guide.

Getting Starbucks Breakfast Free With Stars

Most hot breakfast items cost 200 Stars to redeem. Bakery items, bagels, the Ham & Swiss Croissant and the Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket cost 100 Stars. That split comes straight from the Star costs on Starbucks’ online menu, and it makes some items far better value than others.

Stars Breakfast Items
100 Stars Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket, Ham & Swiss Croissant, Plain Bagel, Everything Bagel, Butter Croissant, Cinnamon Pull-Apart, Avocado Spread, and the bakery case
200 Stars All other breakfast sandwiches, both other wraps, all egg bites and bakes, oatmeal, Ellenos yogurts, MUSH overnight oats

The standout is the Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket: 20 g of protein for 100 Stars, where every other item with 17 g or more costs 200. If you’re cashing in Stars for breakfast, that’s the best protein you can get for the fewest Stars. For a full sandwich at the lower tier, the Ham & Swiss Croissant is the only option.

What’s New on the Starbucks Breakfast Menu, and What’s Gone

The biggest 2026 changes are a reworked Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich, the new Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket, and a limited-run Truffle, Mushroom & Brie egg bite that has since left the menu.

  • Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White (revamped): cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and a sharper white Cheddar, part of the winter menu that reached US stores on January 6, 2026, per Newsweek. It stays on the year-round menu.
  • Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites (gone): added for a limited time with the winter 2026 menu. They weren’t on Starbucks’ online menu when we checked on October 30, 2026.
  • Italian Sausage Egg Bites (not on the menu): still shown by some breakfast lists, but absent from Starbucks’ current menu. We couldn’t find when they were dropped.
  • Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket (new): featured as new on starbucks.com, with 20 g of protein.
  • Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg: currently promoted on Starbucks’ featured menu for its 21 g of protein.
  • Mini Pies (seasonal bakery): Pumpkin, Pecan and Apple Crumble, introduced as seasonal flavors on Starbucks’ featured menu.

Bakery Items That Work as Breakfast

Beyond the breakfast section, the bakery case runs from a 140-calorie Petite Vanilla Bean Scone to a 410-calorie Iced Lemon Loaf. Sugar is where these differ most from the hot items: most loaves and muffins carry 26 g to 36 g.

Bakery Item 🔥 Calories Sugar Protein
Iced Lemon Loaf 🔥 410 Cal 36 g 5 g
Chocolate Pistachio Loaf 🔥 400 Cal 30 g 6 g
Banana, Walnut & Pecan Loaf 🔥 380 Cal 26 g 6 g
Cinnamon Coffee Cake 🔥 380 Cal 35 g 4 g
Blueberry Streusel Muffin 🔥 370 Cal 27 g 5 g
Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf 🔥 360 Cal 31 g 6 g
Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin 🔥 350 Cal 34 g 5 g
Chocolate Croissant 🔥 300 Cal 11 g 5 g
Apple Crumble Mini Pie 🔥 290 Cal 17 g 3 g
Cheese Danish 🔥 290 Cal 11 g 7 g
Cookie Croissant Swirl 🔥 270 Cal 13 g 4 g
Pecan Mini Pie 🔥 250 Cal 14 g 3 g
Pumpkin Mini Pie 🔥 210 Cal 13 g 4 g
Petite Vanilla Bean Scone 🔥 140 Cal 9 g 2 g

Every bakery item costs 100 Stars. The Iced Lemon Loaf has more sugar (36 g) than a Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap has protein (27 g), which is a useful way to think about the trade if you’re choosing between the case and the hot food.

Starbucks Breakfast Numbers Other Lists Get Wrong

Popular breakfast lists carry figures that don’t match Starbucks’ own menu, and some still list items Starbucks no longer sells. We compared a widely shared list against the official data item by item.

Item Commonly Listed Starbucks’ Figure
Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes 210 Cal, 630 mg sodium 240 Cal, 480 mg sodium
Ellenos Strawberry Shortcake Yogurt 13 g protein 16 g protein
Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich 19 g protein, 33 g carbs 18 g protein, 35 g carbs
Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg 940 mg sodium 960 mg sodium
Italian Sausage Egg Bites Listed with full nutrition Not on the current menu
Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites Listed as available Limited time; not on the current menu

The same lists also leave out items that are on the menu: the Ham & Swiss Croissant, the Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket, MUSH overnight oats, both bagels and the regular Ellenos Muesli Yogurt. If a guide doesn’t have those, it was written before the current menu.

Tips for Ordering Breakfast at Starbucks

1. Check stock in the app before you drive

Breakfast has no cutoff, but stores do sell out. Ordering ahead in the app shows you what’s actually left at your store, which matters most in the afternoon.

2. Spend 100 Stars, not 200, where you can

The Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket (20 g protein) and the Ham & Swiss Croissant cost half the Stars of the other sandwiches and wraps.

3. Add avocado to egg bites

Avocado Spread adds 90 calories and 4 g of fiber, which egg bites have almost none of. It’s also 100 Stars on its own if you’re redeeming.

4. Skip the icing on the pull-apart

Sweet Cream Cheese Icing adds 140 calories and 11 g of sugar to a pastry that already has 13 g. Ask for it on the side if you want a taste.

5. Count the oatmeal toppings

The 160 calories is plain oats. Brown sugar, agave, dried fruit and the nut medley each add more, so choose one or two rather than all of them.

6. Go low-carb with egg bites

Bacon & Gruyère Egg Bites have 9 g of carbs against 30 g or more in every sandwich. They’re the closest thing to a keto breakfast on the menu.

Starbucks Breakfast vs Other Chains

Chain Breakfast Hours Signature Morning Item
Starbucks All day, while supplies last Bacon & Gruyère Egg Bites
White Castle 24/7, per White Castle Breakfast Slider
Panera Bread ~10:30 AM (11:00 AM weekends) Breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta
McDonald’s 5:00 – 10:30 AM Egg McMuffin
Burger King 6:00 – 10:30/11:00 AM Croissan’wich
Chick-fil-A 6:30 – 10:30 AM, closed Sundays Chicken biscuit

Starbucks is the only chain here with no breakfast cutoff. Its trade-off is supply rather than time: the others stop at a set hour but keep cooking until then, while Starbucks keeps selling until the day’s stock runs out. Panera is the closest café-style comparison.
