Searching for the Zaxby’s menu with prices is easy. Getting a number you can actually budget against is not. We pulled the same items from three separate menu-price websites on 1 November 2026 and lined the figures up side by side. The gaps were bigger than we expected, and one of the three sites quietly explains why.
So this guide does two jobs. It lays out what Zaxby’s actually sells, category by category, using the chain’s own naming. And it shows you the real spread on price, with the arithmetic in the open, so you can judge any number you see elsewhere.
The Zaxby’s Price Spread: Same Item, Three Very Different Numbers
Across three menu-price sites, every Zaxby’s item we checked carried a different price, and the gap was never small. The Chicken Finger Plate ranged from $6.49 to $14.51. A regular Crinkle Fries ran from $1.49 to $3.68. These are not rounding differences. They are different pricing worlds.

One more oddity worth your attention. On one of those sites, the Chicken Fingerz and Traditional Wings Zampler Platter is listed at $60.49 — exactly the same as the Traditional Wings Platter on its own, and $19.50 less than the Chicken Fingerz Platter. A platter with two proteins priced below a platter with one is not a bargain. It is a sign the list was not checked.
Why Every Zaxby’s Price List Shows You Something Different
The biggest single cause is delivery pricing. One of the three sites states plainly that its figures come from the chain’s delivery menu, where prices run higher than in-store. Stack that on top of franchise-level pricing and stale pages, and a 2× spread stops being mysterious.
Four things are going on at once:
1 · Delivery menus carry a markup
Fast Food Menu Prices says outright that its Zaxby’s figures come from the delivery menu and that in-store prices are often lower. That one disclosure explains most of the high end of our table — and most sites don’t tell you which menu they used.
2 · Zaxby’s is heavily licensed
In its own May 2020 statement the company described 487 licensees operating 759 locations, against 146 company-owned stores. Licensees set their own prices, so there is no single national number to publish.
3 · Pages go stale quietly
One site we checked carries three different dates: a 2018 publication date, an August 2026 update stamp and a July 2026 line in the body. When a page can’t agree with itself on when it was refreshed, its prices deserve the same scepticism.
4 · The items aren’t the same items
“Chicken Finger Plate” means a regular or large on one site and a 4, 5 or 6 Fingerz choice on another. Comparing those two numbers compares different amounts of food.
Honestly, the fourth point is the one that trips people up most. A list showing a cheap Chicken Finger Plate may simply be quoting the smallest version. That isn’t dishonest, but it isn’t comparable either.

Two caveats you should know about, because other pages state them as settled fact.
The headquarters is disputed. Zaxby’s own 2020 press releases say Athens, Georgia, twice. Wikipedia’s infobox says Atlanta. We have gone with the company’s own wording and flagged the conflict rather than quietly picking one.
The location count is out of date. “More than 900 in 17 states” is a 2020 figure. Wikipedia lists 941 for 2022 and more than 970 as of 2025, which suggests steady growth, but we could not confirm a 2026 number from Zaxby’s directly. Any page telling you today’s exact store count without naming a source is guessing.
On leadership, Wikipedia records Bernard Acoca as the chain’s first non-founder chief executive, with McLeroy moving to chairman. We could not verify that from a Zaxby’s release we were able to open, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed here.

Prices in this guide are a comparison of third-party listings, gathered on 1 November 2026 and labelled as such throughout. Company facts come from Zaxby’s own press releases, each date-stamped above.
What we could not do: read anything on Zaxby’s own website. Every path we tried on zaxbys.com returns a 301 to a welcome page, and global.zaxbys.com answers a plain request with a redirect loop; order.zaxbys.com and assets.zaxbys.com do not resolve, and the franchising site returns 403. So we have no first-party menu, no official calorie data and no confirmed current prices. We did not guess at any of it, and we did not try to work around those blocks. Nutrition figures are deliberately absent from this guide for that reason — the calorie numbers circulating on menu sites are unsourced, and we would rather omit them than repeat them.
